The students from the MABC program have all mostly left KL after their two month internships in IP, commercial and Human Rights Law, Human Resources, Business, Community Development and Finance. The group had some amazing experiences both at work and also through taking advantage of Malaysia’s geographic proximity to other Asian destinations. They experienced many local festive occasions – Deepavali and Chinese New Year among them, and survived their first Christmas away from home. All hosts have expressed a genuine satisfaction with their work and cultural adjustment and have asked for further young Australians!

Despite the students coming from a variety of universities across a few states, they formed some close personal bonds, enjoying many social occasions together and providing support not only for each other but also for new arrivals from other internship programs.
